Pity for the Poisoned
Pity for the Poisoned
Do not anger at those who live in hate
Pity them, for they're ignorant to the glories of love
Those that spit vitriol on religion and race
Of such beauty they lack knowledge of
To live with such anger is the loneliest place
Without the love of your fellow man
For no vengeance or venom could ever replace
The touch of a comforting hand
So remember when bitter and bigoted slaves
Imprisoned by vitriolic lies
To teach them with patience the beauty of grace
For love sees beyond veiled eyes.
