Gratitude

I forgot to say my daily prayer
To be a blessing unto others
But you still used me
And I thank you

You gave me words to say
To help someone through the day
I thank you

You put the tools in my hands
To feed a homeless man
I thank you

You gave me wisdom to give advice
To someone who needed insight
I thank you

You gave me strength to endure
A person who needs love as a cure
I thank you

I forgot to say my daily prayer
To be a blessing unto others
But I was used

You proved this
Unworthy, uncouth
Inconsistent, frankly rude.. loser
Can be a help to others
And I thank you
