Who always remember that the show must go on
This is for all the artists who face depression and distress
But for the art they must be strong
This is for all the musicians who fight sickness
To stand up on that stage and rock it like a fuckin star
To all the athletes who break their knees and bleed and scream
Its not about the money.. its about pushing up the bar
Here's to all the artists who take the jobs that feed their art
You can keep your caviar we'd rather fuckin starve
For all the dreamers who dare to dream give up the green and follow heart
Here's to all the writers who despite the fight to silence them
Insist on putting their heart on the page
To all the journalists who persist to keep their integrity
Who's minds are free despite the cage
Here's to all the activists, the catalysts who raise their fists
And put a voice to our rage
Here's to Freddie Mercury, Robin Williams, Bob Marley
Here's to Stan Lee who goes to greet his peeps despite the fact he's 93
Here's to all the people who put their soul out for all the world to see
