Day breaks and takes a different connotation
Until the night arises to expose her constellations
Pretty words we all have heard
Put in a new configuration
And breathe the heat that speaks the beat of another generation
Just a dreamer with a keyboard
Seeking peace from land to seaboard
There's no need for opposition
There's no deed can't be forgiven
Our hearts beat the human rhythm
We need to be reaching coexistance
There's no dream that's not worth livin
No peace that can't be striven
If the streets are bleeding crimson
We should be seeking for revision
If you see someone who's grieving
Who's in need of some receiving
Just remember life is fleeting
Every one of us is bleeding
Life is hard and things get dark
And it gets harder when your reeling
When your pleading for some reason
While the hearts of men are freezing
Everybody has a story
Made up of failure loss and glory
Someone who breathes
Instead you see a faceless allegory
Kindness is infectious
And peace is like a virus
Spread it to the winds
Until it all explodes inside us
Put a cease to all the violence
And when you do what you will find is
The price of someones soul that
Can't be sold for all the gold of midus
If it sounds like this track is skippin
I'm not the first in this position
To see the world around me lost in angst and malnutrition
While the rest of us let prejudice and greed make our decisions
I'm just another voice within the chorus
Another geek with a thesaurus
Saying whats been said since the dawn of our existence
We wage war against our brothers
We worship lust and wealth
Its time we put aside our pride
And put our ego on the shelf
Help out those who need the help
Hug the one that should be held
And love one another as you would love yourself
